Two new players spotted in Manchester United training kit ahead of transfer announcement

Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui have been pictured wearing Manchester United training gear at Carrington ahead of being unveiled as the club's latest signings.

After United reached an agreement with Bayern Munich to sign the duo over the weekend, they both flew to England on Monday morning to put the finishing touches to their respective moves.

It is understood that both players have successfully passed their medicals and have gone through all of the other formal procedures that come with finalising a transfer. An announcement from the club is understood to be imminent.

Two images of the duo wearing United training are already circling on social media. In the images that have been captured on X (formerly Twitter), De Ligt and Mazraoui can be seen speaking to United boss Erik ten Hag.

The images suggest that both players, who played under Ten Hag at Ajax, have already featured in a first-team training session alongside their new teammates. They could make their debuts as soon as Friday for the Premier League opener against Fulham.

Mazraoui's addition to the squad will immediately make up for the loss of Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who finalised his £15million move to West Ham United on Tuesday morning. De Ligt will add an extra body to the club's centre-back department.

Sky has slashed the price of its Sky Sports, Sky Stream, Sky TV and Netflix bundle in an unbeatable new deal that saves £216 and includes 1,400 live matches across the Premier League, EFL and more.

With Ultra HD included at no extra cost, football fans can enjoy the 2024/25 season with crystal clear picture quality.
