Two Liverpool Forwards Could Be Sold This Month If Luis Diaz Joins From Porto

Liverpool are willing to consider offers for Divock Origi and Takumi Minamino as the club looks to complete a deal for Porto winger Luis Diaz, according to reports.

The Merseyside club have reportedly sent a delegation to South America to try and complete the deal before the transfer window closes.

Liverpool may look to offload some of their fringe players in the coming days, particularly if Diaz completes his move to Anfield.

Leeds United and Monaco are reportedly interested in Minamino, who has struggled to establish himself at Liverpool since joining from Red Bull Salzburg in 2020.

Minamino spent part of last season on loan at Southampton and is yet to start a Premier League match this term.

Liverpool are said to be willing to let the Japan international leave if they receive an offer of around £20m.

Origi, meanwhile, has attracted interest from Newcastle and Italian club Atalanta.

The Belgium international has scored 40 goals in 167 games for Liverpool, including the second goal in their 2-0 win over Tottenham in the Champions League final in 2019.

His current deal is due to expire this summer but there is said to be a clause in his contract which will extend his contract by a further year, if he plays a certain number of matches this season.

The Reds have already turned down a £7m bid from Watford for the central defender and value him around £15m, with Newcastle also interested in the 24-year-old.
