Two lanes closed on M62 as car overturns following crash - live traffic updates

Two lanes have been closed on the M62 after a road traffic collision.

The incident occured on the westbound carriageway of the motorway on Wednesday afternoon.

The accident involved a vehicle that has left the carriageway, according to Highways North West.

The area affected is between junctions 12 and 11.

The closure is causing long delays as rush hour approaches.

North West Motorway Police said they were hoping to open lanes and get traffic moving again as soon as possible.
