Tunnel cam captured interesting moment between Jurgen Klopp and Philippe Coutinho

Jurgen Klopp and Philippe Coutinho shared a moment following Liverpool's 2-1 win over Aston Villa on Tuesday.

The match at Villa Park marked the first time Coutinho had faced off against his former manager in the Premier League, four years after he parted company with the Reds and joined Barcelona in a £142million move.

And it seems there is no hard feelings between the parties, with Coutinho making a beeline for the German in the Villa Park tunnel and Klopp greeting the Brazilian with a big smiler and an even bigger hug. The midfielder also made a point to say hello to Pep Lijnders and Peter Kravitz, who he knew well from his time on Merseyside.

Liverpool had to come from behind to beat Villa and keep their Premier League title hopes alive after Douglas Luiz gave Steven Gerrard's side the lead inside three minutes.

But the Reds hit back immediately through Joel Matip and took control of the contest after the break, with the in-form Sadio Mane securing the three points for his side with a headed effort.

Klopp has always insisted there is no bad blood between him and Coutinho, despite the nature of the Brazilian's exit.

Coutinho handed in a transfer request via email after failing to secure a move to Barcelona in the summer window, resulting in him finally being allowed to leave in January 2018.

Klopp addressed the situation two years later on the Pure Football Podcast. "I really respected Phil's switch from the first second," said Klopp. "Not that I do that all the time but it felt oh wow that could be difficult.

"So it's not about yes we signed a new contract so many weeks before that but it was really clear he would not have asked me for any other club but for this club, there was no chance.
