Tua Tagovailoa: Miami Dolphins QB slammed online for 'brutal' throw on TNF

Tua Tagovailoa was roasted on social media for a throw that he made during the first half of the Miami Dolphins’ game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

The Miami Dolphins have got off to a rather incredible start this season, going 3-0 in their first three games, including wins against their division rivals in the New England Patriots as well as the team that many people believe are going to be crowned Super Bowl winners at the end of the season in the Buffalo Bills.

And a large part of that has been down to the performances of Tua Tagovailoa, who having had something of an indifferent start to life in the NFL in his first two seasons is starting to show the glimpses that made him such a hot prospect in college at Alabama and why the Dolphins were so eager to take him at #5 in the 2020 NFL Draft.

Coming into the game, he had completed 71.3% of his passes, had thrown for 8 touchdowns against just 2 interceptions and has got the Dolphins offense rocking, with a large portion of that being down to Tyreek Hill with his incredible speed offering a new dynamic to the side. 

Tagovailoa looks to be on something of a mission this season to prove a lot of people wrong, with the 24-year-old coming in for a large amount of criticism during the summer for his perceived lack of accuracy, as well as how well the relationship between him and Hill will develop given that Hill had spent his entire career in the NFL so far taking passes from Patrick Mahomes, arguably the best in the game right now.

However, those criticisms came back to haunt Tagovailoa as he and the Dolphins took on the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football.
