Tshituka boost for Lions ahead of Sharks outing, Hendrikse on the bench

Durban-bound flank Vincent Tshituka has been named in the Lions starting XV for their final Currie Cup clash on Saturday.

Tshituka will partner his brother Emmanuel, who shifts to the back of the scrum. Francke Horn completes the backrow.

Meanwhile the Lions will welcome Jaden Hendrikse back from Blitzbok duty, while scrumhalf Sanele Nohamba will start against his former employers.

Andre Warner, Sibusiso Sangweni and Wandisile Simelane are among the replacements.

The Lions recorded a 33-10 win against WP last week and will look for a positive finish to the season in Durban.

"It’s our final game of the season, so naturally we are looking to walk away with a win from this one. We’ve had some decent momentum thus far with a victory last weekend however the Cell C Sharks are a tricky side to beat on their home turf," said Lions coach Ivan van Rooyen.

"Our guys put in tough sessions this week and are determined to make it count tomorrow," he concluded.

Kickoff is at 17:00.
