Triple H involved in 'emotional' backstage meeting following retirement

Reports have stated that Triple H (real name Paul Levesque) was involved in an emotional backstage meeting with WWE talent.

Fightful Select is reporting, with just a few days until WrestleMania, that an emotional backstage meeting was held with members of the WWE roster.

The report notes that WWE talent were surprised by Triple H, who many of the Superstars hadn’t seen since he nearly died after a heart issue in September of last year.

We’re told that John Laurinaitis kicked off the meeting by saying he had a guest for the talent in attendance. It was Triple H, who hasn’t been seen by most talent since August

Triple H spoke to the roster about his health issues, before introducing WWE President Nick Khan.

The meeting also brought some good news for the roster members, as Nick Khan told wrestlers that they are now permitted to make money from their work on third-party platforms.

Fightful note that over half a dozen wrestlers reached out to them, who said that the news was fantastic, with talent describing the meeting as “unanimously positive”.

Back to Triple H, the former WWE Champion retired from in-ring competition last week, explaining on ESPN that he nearly died last year, which you can read more about by clicking right here.

‘The Game’ also explained that there were talks for him to be part of WrestleMania this year, but those obviously had to be scrapped because of his heart problems.
