Tributes paid to 'fun loving and kind-hearted man' who died in workplace accident

The family of a man who tragically died in a workplace accident earlier this week have paid tribute to the 'loving' father-of-three.

Emergency services were scrambled to Hilton Square in Swinton on Tuesday (July 25) afternoon to reports of the accident. Mark Tatlock was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

The 41-year-old's family have now paid tribute to him in a statement. They say he will be 'greatly missed' by his three kids, wife of more than 20-years and all other family and friends.

The family said: "As a family we are devastated with the loss of Mark. He was a loving and devoted father to his three children who he loved and adored with all his heart.

"Mark was a loving husband and best friend to his wife who he shared his life with for over 20 years. He was a fun loving and kind-hearted man who lived his life for his family and would do anything for anyone. Mark will be greatly missed by his dad, mum, sisters and all his family and friends.

"As a family we are in shock with the sudden loss of Mark, it has left us with a big void in our lives, but he is now at peace with his brothers Peter and Jamie."

Mark’s family have asked for privacy at this time.

Another man was seriously injured during the incident.
