Trent Alexander-Arnold has described April and May as "the best time of the season" as Liverpool prepare for a huge few weeks in their pursuit of a quadruple.

The Reds have already won the Carabao Cup, beating Chelsea on penalties in the final, and will meet the same opponents in the FA Cup final after beating Manchester City in the semis. They're also into the semi-finals of the Champions League, where Villarreal await, and sit just one point behind City in the race for the Premier League title.

Alexander-Arnold suggested the Reds don't need performances to bring them confidence, and many members of the squads which won the Champions League in 2019 and Premier League in 2020 are still at Anfield. The England defender was a fixture in both triumphs, and has now given further encouragement to his colleagues ahead of a massive few weeks.
