Trent Alexander-Arnold’s FA Cup final highlights show his range of passing is outrageous

Liverpool just about kept their quadruple dreams alive on a dramatic FA Cup final afternoon at Wembley.

With the national stadium bathed in glorious sunshine, Jurgen Klopp’s ‘mentality monsters’ outlasted Chelsea to keep their cool in the lottery of the penalty shootout.

It was Kostas Tsimikas who would stroke home the winning spot kick in sudden death after Cesar Azpilicueta and Sadio Mane missed their efforts.

Thiago Alcantara slotted home a particularly cool penalty to highlight just how calm this Liverpool side are in high-pressure situations.

The game itself failed to deliver any goals, but it wasn’t for a lack of trying. Both sides rattled the woodwork while the likes of Luis Diaz and Christian Pulisic spurned a glut of handy chances.

While Diaz would ultimately go on to win Man of the Match, it was another star in red who once again proved why he is one of the most exciting players in the game right now.

Fresh off the back of his nomination for the Premier League Player of the Year, Trent Alexander-Arnold put on another masterclass in the London sunshine.

The English full-back was on the button from minute one as his outrageous range of passing shone bright all afternoon.

He was denied one of the great FA Cup final assists after setting the aforementioned Diaz clean through on goal with a quite dazzling outside-of-the-boot pass.

He even stepped up to smash home a crucial penalty despite being clearly exhausted after 120-minutes of full-throttle action.

Now, of course, his highlights have emerged online and it’s no surprise that they are quickly racking up huge numbers.
