Travel expert shares top six European destinations to visit in April

A travel guru has revealed her top six European destinations to visit in April, perfect for those looking to escape over the Easter break without venturing too far.

Emma, known on social media as groundedinlondon, is a London-based travel enthusiast who balances globe-trotting with her 9 to 5 job. She took to TikTok to share her recommendations, considering factors such as cost and climate.

On Athens, Emma remarked: "I think April is a really good time of year to visit Athens. It's not too hot, it's not too cold." She highlighted the benefits of fewer tourists and pleasant average temperatures around 20 degrees.

She said: "It's also not too crowded and the average temperature is about 20 degrees. For those looking to savour a drink in Athens, Emma recommends visiting rooftop bars such as A for Athens, Thea Terrace and MS Roof Garden.
