Transfers: Romelu Lukaku departs Chelsea for Roma in loan deal, Manchester City close in on Matheus Nunes

Chelsea's Belgium striker Romelu Lukaku has joined Roma on a season-long loan.

The loan fee was not disclosed but Italian media valued the deal at €8 million, including bonuses.

The 30-year-old will be reunited with Roma manager Jose Mourinho, who worked with him at Chelsea and Manchester United.

He made 34 appearances last term, scoring one goal and proving one assist.

In a separate deal, City’s
