Transfer news LIVE as Celtic and Rangers plus Aberdeen FC, Hearts and Hibs eye signings

The league season is over but transfers are just about to begin.

And, boy, are some of our clubs going to be busy in the weeks and months ahead. Take Rangers for example. Philippe Clement has already admitted he faces a massive rebuild. The likes of John Lundstram and Bona Barisic will be away and so too could James Tavernier and even Jack Butland, although the manager won't countenance the loss of his keeper.

Celtic are going to have lots on their plates as well, although for for slightly different reasons. Brendan Rodgers faces not so much a rebuild but an upgrade as he looks to spend a chunk of the Champions League money that will be coming his way. He'd love to keep Matt O'Riley but that could be difficult. He also must replace Joe Hart which again won't be easy. But nonetheless, Celtic fans will be excited at the prospect of new players coming in.

Across the M8 in Endinburgh, Hibs are looking for a new manager first and foremost to replace the sacked Nick Montgomery while what lies in store for Lawrence Shankland at Hearts.

David Moyes played his final match as West Ham boss less than 24 hours ago but it seems the Hammers hierarchy have been working hard behind the scenes to find his replacement.

Moyes departs the London Stadium after five years in charge, and wrote himself into Hammers folklore by winning last season's Europa Conference League - the club's first-ever European trophy.

And Sky Sports News are reporting this morning that the 61-year-old Scot will be replaced by Spanish coach Julen Lopetegui, with a formal announcement expected later this week.
