Tour de France 2023 team guide: Start list, star riders for Jumbo-Visma, UAE Team Emirates, Ineos and all 22 teams

Twenty-two teams of eight riders have descended upon Bilbao for the grand depart of the 2023 Tour de France – including 18 WorldTour outfits and four UCI ProTeams. Once again, the Jumbo-Visma and UAE Team Emirates squads of race favourites Jonas Vingegaard and Tadej Pogacar stand head and shoulders above the rest, while there is a Tour debut for Norwegian minnows Uno-X Pro Cycling.

All teams and riders will take part in the official presentation on Thursday ahead of Saturday’s opening stage – a lumpy 182km ride around the Basque hills to and from Bilbao. The intriguing opening stage is one of seven stand-out stages to feature in our Tour de France stage guide.
