Tottenham team news: Antonio Conte told to start Ryan Sessegnon against Burnley

Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge reckons that Ryan Sessegnon needs a long run in the side to prove himself at Tottenham – and has urged Antonio Conte to start him tonight.

Spurs travel to Burnley hoping to build on their impressive victory over Manchester City last time out.

It’s been another difficult season for the 21-year-old, but he is getting more minutes than ever before in a Tottenham career.

His start at City on Saturday was his fourth in the last nine Premier League games. Three of those have been against the current top-three, highlighting exactly how much Conte trusts the left-sided attacker, who joined for £25m from Fulham in 2019.
