Despite the dramatic and sensational victory over champions Manchester City at the Etihad, February was a largely disappointing month for Tottenham Hotspur and Antonio Conte.

Three defeats in five league games saw Spurs' top four hopes take a big dent. Although February ended on a high with a 4-0 thumping of Leeds, March could not have started more poorly with a turgid performance leading to a dispiriting FA Cup exit in Middlesbrough.

The defeat away to Burnley almost seemed like the final straw for Conte, as his words sent a shockwave of worry through a fan-base that has been through it all in the past few years.

It certainly isn't a situation the serial trophy-winning Italian is used to, as he has called for the need to have "patience in the process" - not words he has been accustomed to saying in his so far trophy-laden managerial career.

With these events, it would be fair for Tottenham supporters' confidence in their manager to waver, so recently surveyed fans on their views of the current manager and situation.

And Conte received a resounding vote of confidence, with 88.1% of respondents backing the Italian as absolutely the right man to take the Lilywhites forward.
