Tottenham star's agent rips into Ange as bewildering snub has £25m man ready to LEAVE

Ange Postecoglou has been put on blast by a frozen-out Tottenham signing's agent - who claims his client could LEAVE if it keeps up.

Defender Radu Dragusin was a £25m January addition by Postecoglou but has struggled to break into his starting XI. The Romanian has started just twice - a 3-0 defeat to Fulham and 2-1 win over Luton in March - but has mostly watched from the bench. And his agent Florin Manea isn't happy, particularly as Spurs continue to ship sloppy goals and slip down the Premier League table.

He said: “The coach said many times he does not want to play with a three-man defence, evidently he knows best, but Tottenham concede a ton of goals. I also think Tottenham concede a lot of goals from set plays, so Dragusin would be very helpful due to his power in the air. He used to get all the headers at Genoa.”

Dragusin chose Spurs over a move to Bayern Munich or staying put with Genoa. Manea flagged up the possibility of engineering a move back to Italy with Napoli - especially if ex-Spurs boss Antonio Conte takes over. He said: “If he doesn’t play, then we have to think about other solutions, but he only arrived in January, so that seems unlikely right now.

“If Bayern and Tottenham hadn’t been there, he would’ve chosen Napoli. If they were to offer a loan, especially if Antonio Conte was the coach, then we could evaluate that. I can say that if Postecoglu told Dragusin that he is only considered an alternative to the other centre-backs, then he would not stay just to sit on the bench.”
