Tottenham star in love with 'uncle' Ange as Spurs dressing room blown away by the football new boss demands

Chuffed Yves Bissouma has saluted Ange Postecoglou's paternal qualities which is breathing new life into Tottenham's rebuild.

The former Celtic manager's all-action style was there for all to see in their 3-2 defeat to West Ham which yielded 30 shots and boosted supporters over the 57-year-old's bold philosophy to the beautiful game. And the former Brighton star – a £25m signing last summer – believes the way of Postecoglou is winning over hearts and minds among a Spurs side who toiled under Antonio Conte and two temporary bosses last season en route to an eighth-placed finish.

Speaking on their pre-season tour of Australia, Bissouma said: "He gives us confidence. He's like a dad, uncle, friend for us so we're happy to be with him and we're trying to do what he wants. He comes to his players and talks to us all. That's really important in the changing room. When the gaffer comes and speaks to his players that means everything. You know how we have to do it."

And the style of play is a particular highlight to Bissouma who is all-in on the bold approach which Postecoglou favours. He added: "I really like the way we play. 'I really like it. I'm really happy to be back like this, and playing football like this, it's amazing."
