Tottenham signing £50m star next would "solve two problems" for Antonio Conte - transfer insider

Tottenham target Richarlison would fix multiple issues for the club if he moves to Hotspur Way this summer, claims transfer insider Dean Jones.

The Brazilian forward has emerged as a potential option for Spurs in recent weeks, but it seems that getting a deal over the line for him will not be easy.

The 25-year-old scored 10 league goals to help Everton avoid relegation last term, and he is now attracting interest from some of the top clubs in England.

According to the Daily Mail, Tottenham and Arsenal both want to sign Richarlison, and they have been joined in the race for his signature by their London rivals Chelsea.

It is understood that Everton are seeking at least £50m for their prized asset before considering letting him go.

Jones has hinted that Richarlison could be a fine addition to Tottenham’s squad, as he could provide back-up to Harry Kane, while also being able to slot in on either wing for Antonio Conte’s men.

Speaking to GIVEMESPORT, Jones said: “I think one of the things with Richarlison, though, is that it would solve two problems for them. I think if Richarlison comes in, they don’t need that striker. I think that Richarlison can play any of the forward positions that they actually see that need filling, and that’s something that probably edges him up the list.”
