Richarlison insight as expert reveals strengths and weaknesses of new Tottenham signing

Tottenham have spent £60m all in on Richarlison to boost Antonio Conte's options so we asked an Everton expert exactly what the Spurs fans can expect from him.

The Brazil international was snapped up by Tottenham from Everton on Friday in a big-money Premier League move to add further firepower to an attack that already contains Son Heung-min, Harry Kane, Dejan Kulusevski, Lucas Moura and currently Steven Bergwijn. Richarlison is set to link up with his new Spurs team-mates later this week after flying back to the UK from Brazil and first saying his goodbyes to those at Everton.

We asked Adam Jones, Everton reporter for The Liverpool Echo, a string of questions about the Brazilian and as someone who has watched Richarlison week in, week out, he delivered an insight into what the Tottenham fans and Conte can expect from their new £60m man.

Firstly, someone who will give absolutely 100% for the club every single time he takes to the pitch. Even in a struggling Everton side, he was the one who would regularly provide the quality that nobody else could - providing a goal or a moment of magic from absolutely nothing.

A particularly pertinent example of that came at the end of last season. When Everton needed him most he promised that he would not allow his side to get relegated, and he stood up to score six goals in his last nine matches of the campaign including a crucial winner against Chelsea.
