Antonio Conte's Tottenham side took another step closer to securing Champions League football for next season, with their 4-0 victory over Aston Villa on Sunday. The trip to Villa Park saw a hattrick from Son Heung-min, alongside another Dejan Kulusevski goal, to keep them inside the top four.

Although Arsenal do have a game in hand, Spurs currently sit three points ahead of their north London rivals, with the Lilywhites having just seven matches left to play. After some spells of struggle in the first half, Tottenham dominated large spells of the game to get a much-needed win.

What was even more of a boost for Tottenham was that both Arsenal and Man United, who are also battling for a spot inside the top four, lost their matches ahead of Spurs' tie. Conte alluded to this in his post-match press conference, "It was a great win for us, it wasn't easy. But a great win, especially when you play a game after the games of your rivals in the race for the Champions League and they lost."
