Fabio Paratici has been working on surrounding himself with a new team of people to shape Tottenham Hotspur into the club he wants it to be.

The 49-year-old managing director of football spent more than a decade at the top table with Juventus and those who know Paratici say his skills lie in his working of the transfer market - seen as one of the best in the world when it comes to the trading of players - as well as in his strength in dealing with boardroom figures and communicating with the hierarchy of clubs, including his own, and pushing through what he wants to happen to push on the team.

The Italian's method of dealing with the remainder of the football side of the club is to surround himself with talented individuals, who are all experts in dealing with different facets and then report into him, creating a successful working management structure beneath him.

Paratici and Spurs' former technical performance director Steve Hitchen had undertaken a thorough appraisal of the departments within the club and what needed to be changed, with increased budgets handed to Paratici by chairman Daniel Levy.

Following Hitchen's resignation in February and after holding a series of interviews with top candidates around the game, Paratici has decided upon the personnel who will this summer form his new senior management structure in newly-created roles to ensure Antonio Conte's side has the best support possible on and off the pitch.
