Tottenham: Paratici tipped to 'seriously look' at £40.5m 'top defender' for Spurs

Tottenham are expected to seriously consider trying to sign Inter Milan defender Stefan de Vrij this summer, according to transfer insider Dean Jones.

The centre-back has spent the last four years in Milan, but Spurs may look to tempt him to north London when the transfer window re-opens.

It is understood that Antonio Conte is keen to be reunited with de Vrij at Tottenham, who has previously labelled the Italian coach a “born winner“. The pair worked together at Inter for two years, and helped the team win Serie A in 2021.
