Tottenham: Paratici still 'looking' for two more signings at Hotspur Way

Tottenham Hotspur will look to complete two more signings before the end of the summer window with an attacking midfielder and central defender targeted, according to Sky Sports reporter Michael Bridge.

Antonio Conte has overseen a busy period of transfer business in north London but there is still time for the Lilywhites to add to their squad before the September 1 deadline.

Six new faces have signed for Spurs this summer with just over £90 million splashed on the likes of Richarlison, Yves Bissouma and Djed Spence.

A seventh arrival appears to be imminent too in the form of left-back Destiny Udogie, although he is expected to be sent back to Udinese on loan immediately.

But that does not mean Conte is finished trying to bolster his first-team squad. James Maddison and Nicolo Zaniolo have been linked with a move as the Italian looks to add more creativity to his side.

Charlie Eccleshare of The Athletic has also previously told GiveMeSport that Spurs would love to add a left-sided centre-back to their ranks this summer.

Joe Rodon recently departed to join Rennes on loan for the season and while Clement Lenglet has arrived from Barcelona for the campaign, the hunt appears to still be on.

Bridge believes that Spurs will look to bring in another attacking midfielder and another centre-back before the transfer window closes.

The Sky Sports reporter told GIVEMESPORT: “I’ve said for the last couple of weeks, I think they’ll look for an attack-minded midfielder and, potentially, another central defender.”

As mentioned above, Maddison and Zaniolo have both been targeted to add some more creativity to their ranks, but the names of centre-back targets are in shorter supply.
