Spurs beat Aston Villa 4-0 on Saturday evening at Villa Park as they tightened their grip on fourth place in the Premier League. Unsurprisingly, Harry Kane and Heung-Min Son were at the heart of things once again, the former providing a creative spark and the latter scoring a hat-trick.

After full-time, Kane took to Instagram to share his thoughts on the game and congratulated his strike partner, writing: "Massive win. Congrats on the hat trick @hm_son7. Big 7 games to go."

It was not all good news for Spurs from Saturday. One of their most in-form players was forced off in the first half as Matt Doherty was replaced by Sergio Reguilon. After full-time Antonio Conte provided an update on the Irishman.

"I hope nothing serious," the manager said. "The doctors are going to check on him tomorrow. I hope nothing serious because he wanted to continue to play and then he later wanted to come out. I hope nothing serious because he's now an important player for us."

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has delivered an update on former Tottenham winger Gareth Bale. The Welshman has been linked with a return to north London with his future in the Spanish capital in doubt. He came off the bench against Chelsea on Wednesday and the Italian admitted that he was not ready to start.

"He had problems and lately he hasn't played, but he's a player who has entered the history of the club with his titles and goals,"
