Tottenham Hotspur manager Antonio Conte has said Harry Kane "deserves the best" amid reports of the player being linked with a move away from the club.

Kane came close to joining Pep Guardiola's Manchester City last summer but a move collapsed with Daniel Levy refusing to lower his demands for the striker, who has also more recently been linked with a move to Manchester United. And Conte has heaped praise on his star striker following another impressive display at the weekend.

It comes as the Spurs boss has completed a U-turn on his views of the club's January transfer window as he declared his squad is now "more complete" thanks to the signings they made. And a new date has been set for the north London derby that could decide which team qualifies for next season's Champions League.
