Top Nigeria players set for 2024 Lekki Scrabble Classics

Top Scrabble players in the country have indicated readiness to take part in the 2024 Lekki Scrabble Classics, which will begin this weekend.

As the championship kicks off on Saturday, President of Lekki Scrabble Club, Samuel Anikoh, urged all participants who will take part in the event to see themselves as winners.

According to Anikoh, the LSC 2024, which is the third in the series, will unburden different strategies for players to experience unique tournament atmosphere.

He said that prize money has been doubled with more incentives lined up for all participants at the event.

Anikoh also emphasised that the classy tournament will witness a whole fresh experience in organised scrabble.

“Scrabble players can’t afford to stay away from the 2024 Lekki Scrabble Classics. You know what we bring to the table is beyond the boards. Apart from the N1million top prize money, I believe every participant is a winner this year because we are providing lots of packages to make the tournament worthwhile. There are other innovations we will be showcasing through technology. There will also be celebrity matchup. Lunch and dinner will also be provided as part of the Independence Day celebration. Overall, LSC2024 is a tournament you won’t want to miss because it is a special edition.”

The 2024 Lekki Scrabble Classics will end on Sunday, September 29.
