Top 25 prospects for 2024 NFL draft, position rankings - ESPN

The sadness of 2023 college football season being over is overcome by the realization that NFL draft season is about to kick into overdrive. We'll spend the next few months mock drafting, recording arm lengths, tracking pre-draft visits and closely watching the upcoming all-star events as we size up this 2024 class of prospects.

There's still opportunity for each player to shape his draft stock before April's draft, but with NCAA game action — a large chunk of what we use to evaluate — behind us, let's take a look at how the best of the best stack up right now. Here are my top 25 players in this year's class, along with my top five prospects at every position. (Underclassmen are marked with an asterisk.)

Height: 6-foot-1 | Weight: 215 pounds

Williams is the most dynamic player in this class, with 93 total touchdowns in two seasons at USC — including 30-plus passing and 10-plus rushing in each of them. His accuracy within the pocket is very good, but his ability to dodge pressure, extend and throw accurately on second-reaction plays is exceptional.

Height: 6-4 | Weight: 205

Harrison was a worthy Heisman Trophy finalist this season after 14 touchdown catches and an average of over 18 yards per reception. His combination of size, speed, catch radius and run-after-catch skills make him the most pro-ready prospect in the class and a future star.

Height: 6-4 | Weight: 210

No player improved his stock more than Daniels, who took home the Heisman Trophy after amassing 50 total touchdowns (40 passing, 10 rushing). He was surgical as a passer this season, particularly downfield, and he has unique speed and vision as a runner, making him the best dual-threat quarterback in the class. What I liked most:
