Tony Khan: "Possible spoiler" for Dynamite announcement revealed.

Tony Khan is back to his old tricks with making “huge” announcements in the wrestling world, as he has another planned for next Wednesday on AEW Dynamite.

The last time Tony Khan had a huge announcement scheduled was early last month when he announced that he was the new owner of Ring Of Honor. Since then, Khan has featured ROH Championship matches on AEW shows blending the two brands.

Rumors have speculated surrounding what Khan’s next announcement could be on Wednesday.Ringside News has reported that the announcement could be an AEW and NJPW Supershow. The show is rumoured to be taking place in Chicago.There is no definite name revealed for the event. However, if rumours are true then it could be set for as early as June.

There is a lot of evidence that could bring this rumour to life. In the past, there have been a lot of talent who have stepped through the forbidden door and competed in an All Elite Wrestling ring.

With this event being in Chicago it has fuelled the fire of the rumour mill that IWGP Heavyweight Champion, Kazuchika Okada could step into an AEW ring.

Previously, Okada has made it known that he desires to fight two men in what can be called “dream matches”. These are CM Punk and Bryan Danielson.

Okada told Sports Illustrated that he “doesn’t want to wait too long” as he wants to fight them while they are “still active”.

CM Punk responded to this Okada interview by sending his address to Okada which invited him to come to Chicago. If the event comes to life and we do get a supershow event in Chicago, we could finally get the dream bout of Okada vs Punk.
