Tonbridge Angels announce new contract for 10-goal forward Bunmi Babajide
Tonbridge Angels forward Bunmi Babajide has signed a new deal at Longmead.
The 10-goal wideman has arguably been the most improved player under the management of Alan Dunne.
And he’s been rewarded with a deal for the 2026/27 National League South campaign, following Ricky Korboa and Bradley Williams in committing his future to Tonbridge.
“I’ve really enjoyed my football this season at Angels and I’m delighted to sign for another season,” Babajide told the club website.
Boss Dunne, who succeeded Craig Nelson in September, said: “I’m delighted to have Bunmi with us for next year.
“I’ve seen him improve so much in my time here and it’s been great to watch him grow and develop both as a player and a person.
“He really has come on in bundles and I think there is even more to come from him. He’s scored goals, created plenty too and has proved a real asset for the club.”
Tonbridge, 3-2 winners at home to Salisbury last weekend - visit Farnborough in their penultimate match of the season on Saturday.
