Tommy Fury set to triple net worth in Jake Paul fight in Saudi Arabia

Tommy Fury faces the biggest pay day of his career so far this weekend, with the possibility of tripling his net worth in his fight against Jake Paul.

The fight takes place in Saudi Arabia, with the biggest name of his career in the form of Paul. The American YouTube star is a huge name on social media and the fight has huge appeal across the world of boxing and in the internet boxing community as Paul steps into the professional boxing sphere against the undefeated Fury.

The bookies currently have Paul as favourite for the fight, with the 26-year-old having won his last fight against retired UFC star Anderson Silva. Should he win the fight against Fury, he will be rewarded with a WBC cruiserweight ranking which could set him up for an unlikely world title shot in the future.

Fury has a big profile of his own, with his Love Island appearance and subsequent relationship with Molly Mae Hague earning him a big profile outside the world of boxing. He has 4.5 million followers on Instagram, a huge number but not as many as Paul, with the American having 22.1 million followers on the platform.

Data analysts at The Sports Daily have compiled the data ahead of the fight, with Fury's net worth calculated as being roughly $2 million (£1.7 million) ahead of the fight. His reality TV career and social media presence is thought to earn an estimated $3,000 a day with brand promotions and sponsorships.

However, this is set to more than triple to $2 million for the fight. With a 35% PPV share having been negotiated, he could make $4.5 million which would take his potential net worth to $6.5 million.
