Tommy Fury next fight confirmed on Floyd Mayweather vs Deji undercard

Tommy Fury's next boxing opponent has been confirmed with the 23-year-old set to fight on the undercard of the upcomingFloyd Mayweather vs Deji bout.

The Mancunian had been scheduled to face Jake Paul in August but quickly had to withdraw from the fight due to travel issues. Now set to face off against American Paul Bamba in just a month's time, the former Love Island star stands to defend his current unbeaten record of 8-0.

Bamba, a former US Marine Corp holds a record of 5-2 as a professional and the pair are set to face off in Dubai. Fury has been accused of ducking social media sensation Paul as of late with Eddie Hearn still said to be keen on agreeing a fight between the pair.

With recent news announced that Fury's long term partner Molly-Mae Hague is pregnant with their first child, the fighter will look to dust off the cobwebs following a seven-month lay off from boxing action. His opponent Bamba returned from a setback loss with a tidy knockout victory over Francisco Morelos in Colombia.

Standing at 6ft 1', the American will arguably present Fury's toughest test yet with talk still suggesting he could face Paul in a bout early next year. Talk is rumoured to have stalled with former UFC fighter Tyron Woodley about a potential bout between the two fighters.

Brother Tyson had announced his retirement from the sport following his recent victory over Dillian Whyte at Wembley but with Anthony Joshua keen to revive his career, the two teams are now apparently locked in talks surrounding an all British showdown.
