Tom Brady surprises fans with left-handed baseball batting video

Tampa Bay Buccaneers QB Tom Brady has left plenty of people stunned with footage of him that has emerged playing baseball.

The debate about whether or not Tom Brady is the G.O.A.T of the NFL seems to have come and gone at this stage. In fact the debate now seems to have turned to who in the current NFL class, or perhaps in the future, might dethrone him, because he’s certainly separated himself from his peers before him.

With 7 Super Bowl rings to his name, and a whole host of other records, some of which seem impossible to break, there isn’t really a lot more than he can do in this sport, so it might be worth him trying something else.

That sport might well be baseball, something that Brady has dabbled in during his youth days and was even drafted by the Montreal Expos (now the Washington Nationals) in the 18th round of the 1995 MLB Draft back when he was a 17-year-old.

Now quarterbacks and baseball go somewhat hand in hand, after all it is a good workout for their arms if they are constantly having to get the ball from the outfield to home plate for instance, and there have been a number of players in the NFL that have played the sport.

Most notably, Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray was selected with the #9 pick by the Oakland Athletics back in the 2018 MLB draft and even signed a contract with them that included a $4.66m signing bonus.

Brady on the other hand played catcher, a position that is also not unfamiliar with NFL players, with Los Angeles Rams QB Matt Stafford famously playing the position for Los Angeles Dodgers great Clayton Kershaw when they were in high school together.
