Chelsea have been told to offload both Timo Werner and Christian Pulisic in the upcoming summer transfer window. Todd Boehly, who is yet to be confirmed as the new Blues owner, has a big summer on his hands at the club.
Boehly's consortium have agreed a deal with Chelsea to become the new ownership group at the club, but the takeover is still yet to be finalised. However, it's understood that the American businessman is now as close as he's ever been to wrapping up the process.
Once everything is complete, it will be straight down to business for Chelsea, who will look to try and somehow reduce the gap to the Premier League's top two in Manchester City and Liverpool. That means a big summer transfer window is required.
The Blues are expected to try and sign a handful of players to help Thomas Tuchel in time for the 2022/23 season. In order for this to happen, though, it could rely heavily on who heads through the exit door at Stamford Bridge.
Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen have already been confirmed to leave the club once their contracts expire at the end of next month. Another two men that have been linked with moves away are Werner and Pulisic.
