Tim Hortons' biggest drive thru is opening in Greater Manchester this Bank Holiday weekend

Tim Hortons biggest drive thru is opening in Trafford Park this Bank Holiday. The iconic Canadian donut chain is gearing up to open its new restaurant.

Bosses are also offering a couple of lucky customers the chance of bagging free coffee for a year.

Doors officially open at 7am on Monday (August 29). To celebrate, Tim Hortons is offering the first customer in the drive thru lane - and the first customer in the restaurant queue - free drinks for a year.

The brand will run a series of weekly promotions starting with its Dark Roast Coffee, made with 100 per cent arabica beans, for 99p.

The restaurant will be open seven days a week, from 6am to midnight.

The new restaurant, opposite the Trafford Centre, sits next to the Asda petrol station, Krispy Kreme and Starbucks.

Kevin Hydes, chief commercial officer of Tim Hortons franchise in the U.K said: “As our presence in Greater Manchester grows, we continue to be surprised and delighted at the demand that exists for Tim Hortons in the area. Our launch at Trafford Park has given us the opportunity to immerse ourselves further within the Manchester community, and we’re looking forward to engaging with all those in the area once we officially open our doors.”

“We pride ourselves on providing an inclusive, family friendly environment, offering quality value food and drinks, and we’d love to see as many people as possible at our grand opening on Monday. Whether you
