Tiki Barber Shares What Every Giants Fan Thinks Of New Eagles RB Saquon Barkley: 'He's Dead to Us'

Saquon Barkley went full Benedict Arnold on the New York Giants after agreeing to sign with their division rival, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Barkley heads back to Pennsylvania (ex-Nittany Lion) in a total F-U move to his former organization. And Giants legend Tiki Barber shared what every New York fan is thinking now that Saquon betrayed Big Blue.

The Giants' all-time-leading rusher ranted about Saquon's decision to join ‘the enemy’ on WFAN’s "Evan and Tiki." 

"He’s dead to us now. You’re dead to us," Tiki Barber attested, sounding off on Barkley's move to Philly. "Good luck, you’re dead to me."

After six memorable seasons for NY, Saquon Barkley leaves the Giants without a legacy to own by choosing the Eagles as his next destination.

"The fact that Saquon would even contemplate going to play for that team in Philadelphia is insulting to his Giants history and legacy," Barber previously said about a Barkley move to Philly. "Do not go to the Eagles, because if you do that appreciation and respect and reverence that we all have for you, Saquon, will be lost. It will be gone. We want to still respect and love him."

In Barkley's defense, the former second-overall-pick did traverse a messy contract situation last season with a decent approach, producing for the Giants with the intent of reaching a contract extension. 

New York's front office reportedly did not extend any true offers before Barkley vetted other options this offseason.
