Tickets for first Bok Test in 2022, ranging from R150-R850, are on sale

Tickets for the Springboks' opening Test of the year against Wales in Pretoria went on sale at noon on Wednesday.

Prices for the match at Loftus Versfeld range from R150 a seat up to R850 for a prime seat (CLICK here to buy).

The series-opener, scheduled for 2 July, will be the first time the Boks play in front of a home crowd since 2019.

"It is quite appropriate that a historic venue such as Loftus Versfeld will have an opportunity to host the historic match between the Springboks and Wales in the 2022 Incoming Series," Blue Bulls Company CEO Edgar Rathbone said in a statement.

"What an opportunity this will be for fans, who will be the first to watch the reigning world champions for the first time live in South Africa.

"We are excited about hosting the first game and first fans as we slowly return to the new normal, and we look forward to hosting a world-class event. We encourage fans to purchase their tickets early to avoid disappointment."

Tickets for the second Welsh Test in Bloemfontein on 9 July, as well as South Africa's Rugby Championship Test against New Zealand in Johannesburg on 13 August, are available from Ticketpro (CLICK here). SA Rugby said tickets for the 16 July Test against Wales in Cape Town will go on sale in due course.

Tickets for the All Blacks Test in Nelspruit on 6 August are available from Computicket (CLICK here), while tickets for the Rugby Championship match against Argentina in Durban in September will go on sale within the next month.

SA Rugby said it was hopeful that the current restrictions on crowd size will be relaxed in the coming weeks to "bring to life the exciting prospect of seeing the Boks run out once again in front of thousands of cheering fans".
