Three right-backs Manchester United can sign for free to solve Aaron Wan-Bissaka issue

Full-backs are an important part of Erik Ten Hag's system at Ajax and this will likely continue at Manchester United, though will first need some upgrades. Luke Shaw should thrive down the left-hand side but it is on the opposite flank where there remain concerns.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka has his problems in possession and continues to underwhelm. Though despite stepping up admirably since Ralf Rangnick was appointed at United, Diogo Dalot does not seem ready to be relied on as the club's starting right-back.

There are a number of areas that need to be addressed in the squad so the club's budget will be spread thinly. We've had a look at three cheap solutions at right-back.

Noussair Mazraoui

United may only have a small window to secure a deal for Mazraoui given the Moroccan right-back is close to agreeing a deal with Bayern Munich. However, with Ten Hag at the helm, it seems like it would be a missed opportunity if the club did not try to convince him to come to Old Trafford.

Mazraoui is adept at going forward and has five goals and four assists this season for Ajax. If United were able to bring in a player who completely understands how Ten Hag's system works it would be a significant and helpful signing.

Serge Aurier

Aurier struggled for consistency at Tottenham but he has been a key part of Villarreal's squad both in La Liga and the Champions League. The Ivorian has learnt a lot under Unai Emery and this has made him more defensive secure and if this is what Ten Hag wants from his right-back then he may offer a short term solution.
