Three Manchester United youngsters who should play vs Crystal Palace

Crystal Palace is Manchester United's last game of the season and it will also be the final game of Ralf Rangnick's time as an interim manager. The match will decide whether the club end up in the Europa League next season or the UEFA Conference League under Erik ten Hag.

Many United fans have been disappointed with how this season ended. Though the team had not been playing well under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer before he got sacked in November, they were only three points off a top-four position when Rangnick was appointed.

With an interim bounce expected many thought the team would be able to make the top four this season and also challenge for silverware but may have been incredibly optimistic. And it seems Rangnick has now lost a lot of the goodwill that many United fans had for his appointment.

United fans really aren't ecstatic about being in either European competition next season so whatever happens against Palace they will not care. But Rangnick has one move left that could gain him some goodwill back and that is by playing some youth in the final game of the year.

United have a number of quality youth players that could make an impact going forward under Ten Hag and it could be the perfect opportunity to blood them in against Palace. Here are three that should get minutes on Sunday:

Alvaro Fernandez

Given Luke Shaw's recent problems with injury and Alex Telles' failure to truly show the ability many United fans expected him to have when he signed last season, there may be a chance for Fernandez to finally gain his debut against Palace.
