Three Man United stars drop team news hints vs Newcastle amid Bruno Fernandes replacement call
Manchester United are preparing to get down to business against Newcastle United at Old Trafford and they will do so without captain Bruno Fernandes.
The 30-year-old was sent-off for United in their last Premier League match - a defeat to Wolves - and will serve a two-game suspension for that misdemeanour. Manuel Ugarte also missed out due to suspension, meaning Ruben Amorim will be forced into making at least two changes before kick-off.
Victor Lindelof, Luke Shaw and Mason Mount are still absent through injury. But the main question is who will get the nod to replace Fernandes.
Alejandro Garnacho and Joshua Zirkzee - who were both summoned from the substitutes bench on Boxing Day - are perhaps the two most likely options. However, neither man has dropped any hint about their involvement on social media - unlike three teammates in other positions.
