Three festivals and other awesome gigs heading to the north west this autumn

Though summer is fast approaching its end, the festival and music scene certainly isn’t dying down any time soon.

Manchester and the surrounding areas are set to host three festivals this autumn, starting with Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place, before Neighbourhood Festival’s incredible launch party and a brand new event titled Track & Feels arrive.

But that’s not all as there are plenty of artist gigs happening too, with shows by DMA’S, Professor Green and The Wonder Years - read on to find out how to get tickets.

Over the course of three studio albums to date, DMA’S have found an iconic, mythical status among their fanbase – 65,000 ticket sales on their last UK tour alone shows the open-armed response they elicit on international shores.

Their world is one of acceptance, freedom of expression, collective high, and each twist and turn in their journey to this point has led them to what is a landmark single release for the band.

Neighbourhood Festival has announced this year’s opening party, taking place at New Century Hall, Manchester on Friday, September 30.

Headliners Hard-Fi will be joined by special guests The Pale White and Second Thoughts.

Fans have become particularly vocal in calling for a Hard-Fi live return via social media over the last few years.

Not only did Archer’s solo livestream charity gig in lockdown tease the prospect as he performed the band’s debut album, Stars Of CCTV, in full, but the Staines-based group’s influence has increasingly been felt of late on a new generation of artists who also fuse dancefloor-friendly grooves and beats with words that candidly chart modern life.
