Thousands hit Manchester fan park for England Euros final - live updates
Thousands of football supporters have descended on Manchester's fan park ahead of the Euro final.
England's Lionesses take on Germany this evening with the chance to make history. Greater Manchester's Ella Toone and Keira Walsh are just 90 minutes from glory.
Rochdale-born Walsh has played all but four minutes of England's games so far while Tyldesley's Toone scored the equaliser in the quarter final against Spain.
Capacity at the fan-zone in Manchester's Piccadilly Gardens is to be doubled and a second screen added after more than a thousand fans watched the 4-0 semi-final victory over Sweden on Tuesday.
Bosses say it’s to give as many people as possible the chance to enjoy the occasion, which is the second year in a row in which an England team will play in a Euros final at Wembley.
Supporters have also packed out pubs across Greater Manchester in the hours leading up to the 5pm kick off.
