Thomas Tuchel sacked: Chelsea owners drew up plans for 4-4-3 tactics
Thomas Tuchel’s sacking from Chelsea has shocked the footballing world.
While Chelsea haven’t made a great start to the campaign, it was believed Tuchel had enough credit in the bank at Stamford Bridge having won the Champions League.
But the club’s new American consortium, led by Todd Boehly and Clearlake Capita, have proved just how ruthless they are and sacked the German less than 12 hours after their defeat to Dinamo Zagreb in the Champions League.
In the 24 hours or so that have since passed, it’s become clear that Graham Potter is now set to succeed Tuchel.
Reports claim he’s verbally agreed to leave Brighton for west London with an appointment expected imminently.
