Thomas Tuchel reveals Chelsea have two fresh injury doubts ahead trip to Crystal Palace
Chelsea may be without club captain Cesar Azpilicueta and Timo Werner for tomorrow's Premier League trip to Crystal Palace, Thomas Tuchel has confirmed.
Due to the January international break and the Blues' involvement in both the FA Cup and Club World Cup, it's been almost a month since Tuchel's side were last in action in the top flight.
However, the stuttering form of those below Chelsea has ensured they remain third in the Premier League table with a four-point advantage and game in hand over Manchester United in fourth.
The race to finish in the Champions League places is very much underway and the Blues can't afford to drop points if they are to secure a spot in the top four with matches to spare.
Palace head into the game having won just two of their previous ten Premier League matches – the Eagles will also be without standout performer Conor Gallagher, who is ineligible to play against Chelsea, the club from which he is on loan.
