Thomas starts: The predicted QPR XI to face Stoke on Saturday

QPR might be tenth in the Championship table but they’re still only three points off the top six in what is sure to be an extremely tight play-off push to end the campaign.

There are still four or five teams outside of the top six that could still consider themselves as having a shot at breaking into those play-off spots before the season comes to a close.

The Hoops are one of them, with the side having been sat in the top six for a large part of the campaign. They’ve recently dropped out of those spots though but will be determined to break back into them with three games left.

It makes this clash against Stoke a must-win affair – and here is how Mark Warburton’s side could line up for it.

QPR have struggled with injuries over recent weeks and they’ve been handed another blow with the news that Moses Odubajo will miss the rest of the season – and could be crocked for most of the summer too.

With a lack of other defensive and full-back options at the squad due to injury, it looks like Osman Kakay could step in again from the start in this fixture. He came off the bench for Odubajo in the last game and might be given the nod to play instead of him here. The rest of the defence should stay fairly familiar though with the side keeping a clean sheet last time around.

In midfield, Sam Field had more tackles than anybody else against Derby and his solid showing in the centre should keep him in his midfield spot alongside Andre Dozzell.
