Thomas Frank makes Leicester City admission as Foxes hatch Wilfred Ndidi plan
Leicester City have “two of the best offensive players in the league” in Youri Tielemans and James Maddison, Brentford boss Thomas Frank believes.
The pair scored the goals as City beat the Bees in October and are part of a side that is capable of beating all of the top-six clubs, the Danish manager has said as he prepares to bring his Brentford side to the King Power Stadium for the first time on Sunday.
However, it may be that only one of Maddison and Tielemans start for Brendan Rodgers’ side in the match, with the manager opting for a system in recent weeks that has space for just one of them, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall keeping his spot on the left of a midfield trio.
“We know it is going to be difficult,” Frank said at his press conference. “They have maybe not hit the highest level this season compared to the last two seasons where they were fighting for Champions League football and playing unbelievable football – but they are still a top team who, on their day, can beat all the top-six teams.
