This Morning's Rochelle says 'we've blown it' as LeAnn Rimes admits 'I can't do this'

Country music star LeAnn Rimes was visibly repulsed during a live segment on ITV's This Morning, confessing: "I don't think I can do this," as she struggled with the array of British snacks presented to her.

Presenters Rochelle Humes and Joel Dommett invited the 'How Do I Live' singer to sample traditional UK fare as part of her 'Rimes Rates' feature, where she tastes local delicacies from countries she tours. The selection included a "very dry" Scotch egg, Bovril, a Tunnock's teacake, and pork scratchings.

The tasting got off to a rocky start when Joel had to pass LeAnn a glass of water after she choked on the Scotch egg. Her encounter with Bovril was even less successful, as she gagged at the smell and exclaimed: "I don't think I can do this," before reluctantly trying a sip and commenting, "It's like watered down beef," quickly setting the mug aside.

Pork scratchings fared no better, earning a dismal one out of 10 from the singer.

Desperate for something more palatable, LeAnn pleaded: "Give me a chip or something sweet!" She was then offered a Tunnock's teacake, which Rochelle described as a "Scottish classic". Joel humorously remarked that nothing pairs with Bovril quite like it, reports the Mirror.

LeAnn gave the teacake a more favourable review, scoring it a seven and expressing her enjoyment of the "cookie bit in the bottom", acknowledging that the show was ending on a high note.

Reflecting on the experience, Rochelle conceded: "I think we've blown our first time meeting LeAnn Rimes."

She appended a cautionary note, saying, "We should point out, you wouldn't normally do it in this order!" as LeAnn Rimes interjected with, "I was going to say, that was quite the mix of things."
