Ianis Hagi admits his future is up in the air but Rangers fans on the Hotline say he should be tied down at Ibrox immediately.

The Romanian - a free agent at the end of the season - climbed off the bench at Pittodrie on Sunday to salvage a last gasp point for 10-man Gers and delay Celtic’s title celebrations. Hagi started the season in first team exile amid a contract impasse but has shown his class in flashes since being brought back from the B team.

And Robert Livingston, Palm Beach, said: “What a really a wonderful goal Hagi scored, the club should do all they can to keep him by offering an improved contract. He’s a top quality player treated badly by deceitful men who wanted to bilk him of a written contractual payment with Philippe Clement's help by refusing to play him. It was shameful while they paid bigger money to bad players. With new owners arriving Hagi would be an integral part of their plans for next season.”

Roy Ritchie, Troon, agreed: “Is it any wonder that Hagi would like to leave Rangers? Successive Rangers' coaches, present included, have failed to utilise his undoubted talent. It beggars' belief how Clement and now Barry Ferguson have ignored or wrongly used him in positions where he was unable to make a meaningful contribution. This says more about his coach's ability than his.”

Meanwhile Rangers celebrations at the late leveller have come in for criticism. Not least from Record Sport columnist Chris Sutton who dubbed them “pathetic”. Bill Lockerbie, Northampton, agreed saying: “Celebrating the way the Rangers people do following a draw, sums up where they are right now. But I guess when you've won zilch in the lifetime of many of their fans, celebrating a draw must be as good as winning a
