Thibaut Courtois Aims Subtle Dig At PSG Over Talented Individuals, Champions League Match Just Got Spicier
The La Liga leaders face the French giants in the Champions League last-16 in the tie of the round.
PSG, who have yet to win the prestigious Champions League, host Real on February 15 as they look to finally bag the 'Big Ears' trophy following the addition of Messi.
The Belgium stopper is aware of the great players they boast, but insists football is more about a team rather than individuals.
"They have talent in all the lines, but today's football is more about a team than individuals because if you have fear, there can be complications."
He added: "It's true that a talented player can score a goal out of nothing, but one has to worry more about stopping their merits as a team."
Real won five of their six group stage matches and topped Group D ahead of Inter Milan.
As for PSG, they finished second to Manchester City in Group A, drawing the Spanish club in the next round of the competition.
Even with their terrifying front three, Mauricio Pochettino's side haven't looked majorly convincing.
They drew at Club Brugge and RB Leipzig and lost to Manchester City who beat them 2-1.
How far will PSG go in this season's Champions League?
