Thiago Alcantara insists he's "never had a month like it" - as Liverpool prepare for a season-defining April.

The Reds are aiming to become the first team in England to win the quadruple - lifting the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and EFL Cup in the same season. Jurgen Klopp's side have already won the latter trophy, beating Chelsea in February's final.

Liverpool's campaign could collapse in this month. They face Benfica in the quarter-finals of the Champions League on April 5 and 13 and travel to title rivals Manchester City on April 10. They will play City again six days later in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

Liverpool's position in the Premier League is intriguing. A top four finish is a practically a given - considering their 18 points clear of Tottenham in fifth - and will have little left to play for if they slip behind City in the title race. City are currently one point ahead.
